The android programmers are now working to port this new version to old android devices.And the hackers have ported the Android 2.0 to old devices after the source release and they reported that ” It runs really well, fast and smooth. Audio and video not working yet though” on G1.

Doodle 4 Google Winner Announced

The Google announced the Doodle 4 Google contest in which the kids where told to create a design for the Google Logo on Novemeber 14.the kid from India named  Puru Pratap Singh, a 9 year old, Class IV student from Gurgaon, India, has won the Doodle 4 Google Contest

Google Earth 5.0 – Ocean

Google has released Google Earth 5.0 – an edition which allows users to not only see the surface of the Earth, but go underwater in an oceanic exploration as well! The upgrade is called Google Ocean and allows you to go adventuring in a real-life underwater world. You can even visit the deepest part of the ocean – the Mariana Trench. From what I’ve read it seems to be quite educational, maybe I’ll sit down and explore a bit of it soon. Although I must admit, from the preview video it seems more like an ocean-modeler than an ocean-viewer, featuring a 3d map view of the ocean with videos embedded into particular places as opposed to actual underwater footage.
