It’s official – there is going to be a netbook edition of Windows 7. This was recently confirmed by Steve Ballmer of Microsoft. We aren’t too enthusiastic just yet – this netbook edition is going to be able to run up to 3 apps at one time :/. Read more here.

Got Detective Skillz? Make $250,000 From Microsoft!

Feel like making an extra $250,000? Yes? Well, that is what Microsoft is offering to anyone, from any country, who gives them information leading to the arrest and conviction of the guy (or gal) who created the Conficker worm. The Conficker, which surfaced in October of 2008, infected more than 15 million PCs by January 26, 2009. Microsoft even set up a technology industry collaboration to fight the Conficker as it wreaks havoc and does its ‘thang’. Windows did release patches eventually 
But anyway, this isn’t about the Conficker – it’s about the reward! Do you know how many shoes a girl could buy with that? Or better yet, how many iPhone apps! I think I came a little.
